Tracy Ruddle

Director of Continuous School Improvement, BEP

Tracy is Director of Continuous School Improvement at the Birmingham Education Partnership and Sub-regional Lead for the Teaching Schools Council.

Since January 2016, Tracy has been Director of Continuous School Improvement for the Birmingham Education Partnership, with a contract from Birmingham City Council to deliver school improvement to all (c.290) maintained schools in Birmingham. Within this role, she is responsible for, among other things, the identification of underperforming schools and developing strategies to secure their improvement through a school to school support mechanism.

To support whole city school improvement (445 schools), Tracy has supported the Birmingham TSAs to get two successful bids from the Strategic School Improvement Fund, collectively valued at £1.3 million, and she now leads the Birmingham sub-region on behalf of the Teaching Schools Council.  This means she is now responsible for managing the DfE school improvement offer across the city.
