Emma was co-Headteacher of Greet Primary School and Teaching School until leaving at the end of the academic year 2019 to become an independent Education and Leadership Consultant.
Emma has been teaching in inner-city Birmingham schools for 28 years including Greet for 20 years. During this time she has undertaken a range of teaching and leadership positions. Working closely with her co-Headteacher she led the operational and strategic development of a four-form entry school and worked in partnership with the other Headteachers and senior leaders of the schools within Create Partnership Multi-Academy Trust.
She has worked collaboratively with Birmingham Education Partnership (BEP) to develop and lead the Peer Review Programme for school led self-improvement over the last four years. This partnership continues as Emma works alongside the BEP team this year in expanding the use of Peer Review for all schools across the city.
