Cath Keast

BEP Consortium Partner

Cath is a Consortium Partner at BEP. With a background of over 20 years of teaching in Birmingham schools and recent Head and Deputy Head Teacher experience, Cath’s career has been rooted in driving and delivering high standards of teaching and learning and achieving good outcomes for all pupils.

A diverse range of settings and roles has enabled Cath to acquire secure knowledge and experience of good practice in improving outcomes, developing staff, and leading whole school initiatives. These have included leading curriculum redesign, whole school alignment of a curriculum for and assessment of writing, and the repurposing of a school’s vision and values. Underpinning all Cath does is her drive to continually learn and as a result she is a keen advocate of educational research, and has frequently adopted new working practices in her schools.

Engaging and partnering with others has been key in Cath’s own development and provided her with the fundamental belief that we achieve better outcomes for children when we collaborate and work together as educators rather than in isolation.
